This morning Year 7 visited Stormont. We learnt about our local government and met MLA Robbie Butler. We were able to ask him questions about what it was like being a politician. We went into the Chamber where all the debates take place and found out where the different Political Parties sit. We were able to have a debate on some laws we would like to pass and then voted going out through the doors with " the ayes to the right and the nos to the left". It was a very informative morning and we learnt a lot about our local Assembly.
