Year 4 Visit Graham's Bakery
7th Oct 2016
Our topic in Year 4 this term is ‘Food and Farming’ and as part of our topic we visited Graham’s Bakery in Dromore. We discovered what happened to the wheat once it was turned into flour.
We watched flour being mixed together with other ingredients to make delicious buns and cakes. Before this mixture reaches the shops we discovered it must be baked, then decorated and finally packaged and packed into boxes.
We loved our visit to Graham’s bakery and we even got to taste some delicious buns and Swiss Rolls. Year 4 would definitely recommend them. Thank you very much to Graham’s bakery for letting us visit.
