We used non-standard units to investigate the weight of classroom objects. After recording our findings on the IWB, we realised that when we are weighing something, we need to use a standard unit of measure. The standard unit used in weighing is the Kilogram (Kg). We are going to look for the weight on packaging when we go shopping or take a look in our food cupboards at home.
