Y5 have been covering ‘AREA’ in Numeracy and ‘MAMMALS’ in WAU. Year 5 had great fun designing and calculating areas of robots in numeracy. As part of our mammal topic, children enjoyed trying to replicate work by the famous Scottish artist, Steven Brown, by drawing pictures of ‘Hamish’ the highland cow and ‘Josie McZoo’ the giraffe.
