We have been examining the features of play scripts: stage directions, characters and dialogue. We devised Sci-fi alien characters and then created short play-scripts featuring the aliens and ourselves as principal characters. The best part was acting out a play script about an alien who visited earth in search of cold square water (ice cubes).
