We had a visit from local historian,Bruce White, who gave a very informative talk about life in early times. The children got to handle tools and weaponry similar to those used by early man. They learnt how he hunted and gathered food, sourced natural materials to build homes and to make clothing, start a fire for heat, light and protection and how their nomadic life was influenced by the availability of resources necessary for life.
