We have enjoyed exploring our topic on toys over the last few weeks.
We learnt about how toys have changed over time and enjoyed learning about toys from long ago with ‘Nanny’ from Mountstewart.
We also brought in our favourite toys for ‘show and tell’ and had a look at some toys played with by parents and grandparents.
We then made our own sock puppets and used these to put on a puppet show for our friends.
We have been investigating the forces: push and pull, and enjoyed finding ‘pushes’ and ‘pulls’ in our environment.
We even carried out a ‘fair test’ investigation into what happens to speed and distance travelled by a toy car when the ramp height and floor surface is altered.
