This year our school council have been very busy.
We delivered Christmas cards to our neighbours on the Ballynahinch Road and local businesses. These cards were designed by pupils in the school.
The school council met with representatives of ABC council to give feedback on proposed plans to revamp Dromore Park. The pupils enjoyed evaluating the plans and making suggestions of their own.
In term two the school council entered into a friendship with Mountvale Nursing Home. The pupils have enjoyed getting to know the residents. We have painted ornaments, played bingo and had many laughs. This week we invited some of the residents for a cup of tea and gave them a guided tour of our school.
