We have been learning about different materials this term.
We have investigated the different properties of wool, wood, glass, plastic and metal and discovered which float and sink in water. We have been learning about which materials are natural and which are man made; where they come from and what the man made materials are made from. We have investigated which materials in our room are magnetic and which are waterproof. We have talked about textures and made a collage of rough and smooth textures. We have had fun working in our ‘tinkering workshop’ during play based learning and had ‘workshop’ green screen photos taken. Have a look at some of the things we got up to.
