This week we held prize giving assemblies for all the children who took part in our Fit & Fab Fund Raising day before Easter. The day itself was a huge success with fundraising totalling £10,250 for new reading books.
As promised, Mrs Murphy organised prizes for all our Fundraisers as a 'Thank You' for such a brilliant effort from everyone.
The top fundraiser from each year won a complimentary swim pass for themselves and an accompanying adult for Banbridge Leisure Centre. The second highest fundraiser from each year had the chance to take part in a lucky dip to win a mystery prize. We also held a lucky dip for one child from every class in school. The childrens names were drawn from a hat by Mr Carlisle and they had a good rummage in the mystery prize box. All our prizes were aimed at more fun and exercise such as baseball bats, frisbees, footballs, and skip balls.
It was a lovely finish to a really fun Fit & Fab day.
