On Tuesday our school rugby team ended their season at Banbridge Academy for the ‘Best’ Rugby Festival, organised by Poyntzpass Primary and sponsored by Rory and Simon Best. A fantastic afternoon with our team playing 4 super games of rugby against Waringstown, Meadowbridge, Edenderry Portadown and Ballydown.
It has been a brilliant mini rugby season with the team playing 13 games and scoring over 70 tries. They have been a pleasure to coach and I wish our P7s moving on every success with their rugby and look forward to working with the P6 players again next year. A big thank you also to all the parents, for your support on the sidelines and for all the help in transporting the team to and from fixtures.
