The girls’ football team travelled to Cheney Park in Banbridge today to take part in the annual Evo Soccer Girls’ tournament against 13 local schools. The girls won every match in the qualifiers with an impressive 16 goals scored and none conceded, progressing to the semi finals where they beat Edenderry 1-0. They then played Abercorn in the final where they won 1-0. Well done girls! The girls were delighted to each be presented with a trophy. The new football kits are looking amazing.
A special mention goes to Charlotte who won the overall player of the tournament. A fantastic achievement with around 150 footballers in attendance.
